Bark of Pythagorus (ghost version)

The hard-to-do print...is done. there is enough discussion of the print itself in earlier posts. Today, trying to hold the subtle detail in the very light, flattened can (the Bark...) in a series of 4 plates (!) adjusting contrast in the light zone in Photoshop and then exposing for less time which yields a darker print, I arrived at a version that I like. It is deeper/darker than the digital source image but this is a different end product and it works. Accepted.
Final print is a shown with the digital source image and the plate at inking station. Now I need to find a math buff who can't live without art...

Hey Mel I like this work and, as I am not an artist, I would like to be able to understand how this is done. Maybe I can come see the original?
