Japan-2




Some more images... calligraphy is a particular passion for me - and to see its variations in ordinary, commercial life is fun - even the graphisc design using the characters...

Japan Report




Back from Japan and re-acclimated. For the most part I'll try to let a few images convey the experience. Some now and some to follow. Overwhelming overall impression: precision and pattern. Four cities: Tokyo, Takayama, Kanezawa and Kyoto.Excepit for Tokyo we stayed in Japanese inns, Ryokan - for as little as staying in Super 8 motels here.
